In Australia, 1 in 4 individuals lack access to digital devices – this equals 6 million people who are getting left behind in an increasingly digital society.
That’s why we’ve made a conscious effort to give back to our communities by donating a percentage of the tech we buyback every year to partner charity organisations.
We’re passionate about supporting survivors of domestic violence and closing the digital divide for isolated or disadvantaged Australians and donating tech to help those in need.
Moorup has worked with several charities and organisations since our inception in 2018 and we love hearing stories of the difference that technology can make for the recipients of our devices.
Good360
Good360’s mission is to connect charities, schools and societies most vulnerable with business who are willing to
donate unsold or surplus goods and services that business produce every year rather than going to waste.
We help Good360 Australia bridge this divide, so Australians in need can access the basic digital skills and tools to participate in today’s world.
Friends with Dignity
Friends with Dignity is a volunteer based, not for profit registered charity that provides practical programs to assist survivors of domestic violence in collaboration with refuge and crisis centres.
DV Safe Phone
A not for profit registered charity organisation, DV Safe provide mobile phones to domestic violence survivors, through over 300 Domestic Violence and Law Enforcement Agencies, Safe Houses and Hospitals Australia-wide.
4 Voices
A registered charity working to foster connections for girls and women who are at risk of social isolation, domestic and family violence, homelessness and digital exclusion.
North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency
The North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency is a not-for-profit legal service which provides legal and support services to Aboriginal people and their families across the Northern Territory of Australia.
AMES Australia
AMES Australia provides employment services, community engagement and settlement support to migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants to settle in Australia.
Fostering Hope Australia
Fostering Hope Australia’s provide foster and other social programs to support children in out-of-home care in Western Australia.
